JONATHAN F. BACH, ESQ.


Jonathan F. Bach is a native of Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania and was the recipient of a 4-year Naval R.O.T.C scholarship while attending Villanova University.  Upon graduating from Villanova in 1995, Attorney Bach was commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy and served as a Surface Warfare Naval Officer with tours onboard the USS PORTLAND (LSD 37) and USS NIMITZ (CVN 68) where he deployed multiple times.  Attorney Bach also served in the Public Affairs office at the Headquarters for the Atlantic Fleet where he coordinated numerous high visibility visits between the private sector and the Navy.

Upon concluding active military duty, pursued a Juris Doctorate degree and graduated from the Dickinson School of Law and then clerked for The Honorable Charles H. Saylor of the Northumberland County Court of Common Pleas from 2006-2008.  In 2008, Attorney Bach entered private practice focusing on the General Practice of law with an emphasis on Family law, Civil Litigation, and Municipal Law.  In 2015, Attorney Bach opened his own law office in Williamsport where he continued in the General Practice of law until joining Coyne & Coyne, P.C.    

In addition to his private practice of law, Attorney Bach concurrently continued his military service and transferred from the Navy to the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps where he served from 2009-2014 as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate of the 193rd Special Operations Wing of the PA Air National Guard in Middletown, PA advancing to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  In 2016, Attorney Bach transferred to the Air Force Reserves and is currently attached to the 633d Air Base Wing Legal Office at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.

Attorney Bach is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, before the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.  Attorney Bach has successfully argued cases before the Pennsylvania Superior Court. 

Mr. Bach is married to the former Rebecca A. Miller of Reading, Pennsylvania and they are the parents of two children.
